Rust stains on the inside and outside required an investigation of what was going on in one of the most inaccessible areas of the boat.

In the end, 4 new bolts were put into the backstay chain plate and peace of mind was reinstated.

2 of 4 backstay bolts not looking healthy	inside, quite a mess
rust and possible rot!	after cutting back the surplus grp, everything turns out to be ok

Now only the impossible bobstay fixing bolts was left to be checked
